About Series H
Hatz Series H is the most powerful production series in the Hatz portfolio. The liquid-cooled 3- and 4-cylinder engines are designed for the toughest industrial applications – construction equipment, mining technology, generator sets and power generation equipment.
The engines are available in several power variants identified by suffixes: T (turbocharger), TI (turbo + intercooler), TIC (TI higher output) and TICD (TIC higher output, different configuration). All Series H models are equipped with a Bosch Common Rail system with an operating pressure of 1,800 bar, which ensures precise electronic fuel metering (up to 3 injections per cycle) and compliance with Stage V / Tier 4 Final emission standards.
The optional SilentPack variant fits the engine with a soundproofing enclosure for applications with strict noise limits. The engines meet emission standards from Stage IIIA to Stage V depending on configuration.

SilentPack – soundproofing enclosure
Selected Series H models are available in the SilentPack variant – the engine is housed in a compact soundproofing enclosure that significantly reduces operating noise. Suitable for generators and machines that would otherwise require an additional enclosure due to weather conditions.

Heavy construction equipment
Vibratory rollers, compaction equipment and heavy construction machinery. Customers: Ammann, HAMM, Wacker Neuson.
Generator sets
Powerful diesel generators of 20–80 kW for industrial backup power, remote locations and continuous-duty applications.
Mining technology
Drives for mining and extraction machinery requiring high power output, reliability and resistance to extreme conditions.
Hydraulic drives
Powerful hydraulic power units and drive units for industrial lines and mobile hydraulic systems. Customer: Liebherr.
Road maintenance machinery
Machinery for the repair and construction of asphalt roads. Customers: Kobit, Strassmayer, Bagela.
Compressors
Industrial diesel compressors of medium and higher power classes. Customers: Kaeser, Atmos, Mannesmann.
